Team Phish2Own of Bremerhaven University of Applied Technology has finished within the upper third at the StayCtF 2022. Six students analysed, patched and exploited software, or using a colloquial term “hacked”, for six hours on Sunday the 6th of February. The young team finally was able to reach place 29, which puts it at 1/3rd of the participants list. Winning roughly 1/6th of the the points of the winning team saarsec there is definitely some headspace to grow into.
Next year will see the team run by a new Bachelor project, providing opportunity to interested students from Bremerhaven to join the team in training and contest.
